Dr. Hasmukh Adhia is an officer of Indian Administrative Service, who retired on 30th November, 2018 as Union Finance Secretary & Revenue Secretary in Government of India. At present he is Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister of Gujarat since January 2023.
Dr Adhia is also Non-Executive Chairman of three State owned companies. These companies are GIFT (Gujarat International Finance Tech City Ltd), Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC).
Dr Adhia is associated with number of educational institutions. He is Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat and member of Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is Vice-Chairman of the School of Ultimate Leadership.
Dr. Adhia has a post-Graduate degree in Accountancy. He is a gold medallist from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and holds a Ph.D. in Yoga from Swami Vivekanand Yoga University, Bangalore.
As Finance and Revenue Secretary, he was credited with the successful implementation of GST in India. On his superannuation in November 2018, Late Shri Arun Jaitley, the then Finance Minister of India praised Dr. Adhia’s contribution in a Facebook post. He said “Dr. Adhia was unquestionably a highly competent, disciplined, no-nonsense civil servant and of course, with impeccable integrity.”

Shri Pankaj Joshi, IAS has assumed as the 32nd Chief Secretary to Government of Gujarat on 31st January, 2025 (AN).
He is a senior most IAS Officer of Government of Gujarat with distinguished academic background of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Water Resource Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
After joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1989, he has held several key leadership positions in public administration, contributing significantly to policy formulation and governance. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping policies across diverse sectors, including Land Revenue, Personnel and General Administration, Education, Finance, Energy, Ports & Transport, Social Welfare, Tribal Affairs, and Urban Development, serving both at the State and Central Government levels. His extensive experience in governance culminated in his tenure as Additional Chief Secretary to Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat from September 2021 to January 2025.
In addition to his administrative expertise, he has been actively engaged with the corporate sector in various capacities. As a Government-nominated Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors in multiple Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), he has provided strategic leadership in crucial sectors such as Electricity Generation & Distribution, Logistics, and Gas Transmission & Distribution, among others.

Shri Kamal Dayani, is Additional Chief Secretary to General Administration Department (Personnel), Government of Gujarat. Shri Kamal Dayani, IAS is a Gujarat Cadre officer of Indian Administrative Services belonging to 1990 batch.
He possesses a degree of B.E. in Electronics and post graduate in Business Administration. He commands a very vast experience in public administration and public policy. As an IAS officer, Shri Kamal Dayani, IAS has worked in various capacities covering a very wide spectrum of Government departments, both at State level and National level, such as Industries, Revenue, General Administration, Power, Civil Supply departments etc. He had also been Additional Chief Secretary to Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat. During his long spanning career, Shri Kamal Dayani, IAS has also participated in various national and international training programmes covering a variety of topics in public administration.

Ms. Mona Khandhar is currently holding the crucial role of Principal Secretary, Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat. This position allows her to make substantial contributions to Gujarat’s digital and technological landscape, propelling advancements in critical sectors and fostering innovation for the state’s overall growth and development.A distinguished civil servant within the esteemed Indian Administrative Service (IAS), boasting an extensive career spanning over 25 years, Ms. Khandhar has adeptly navigated a spectrum of challenging roles at various levels of governance. Securing the 7th rank nationwide and emerging as the top-ranking female candidate in the Civil Service Examination attests to her commitment to excellence.
Prior to this she also served as the Principal Secretary of the Panchayat, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department, where she was entrusted with shaping policy decisions for the development of local self-government in rural areas.

Dr. T Natarajan has completed his graduation in Mining Engineering from college of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University in Tamil Nadu and M.B.A. in Finance from Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tamil Nadu, India. Later, he acquired additional education qualifications including Masters in International Development at Duke University in USA.
Dr. T. Natarajan is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Officer from Gujarat Cadre. He held a range of responsibilities in Gujarat Government including District Collector and District Development Officer. He has served in the departments of Finance, Revenue, Industry & Mining and Technical Education and held leadership positions in Public Sector Undertakings.
Dr. T. Natarajan was entrusted with the responsibility of Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of India in the International Monetary Fund at Washington DC by the Government of India. He also served as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs in Government of India. Before the current assignment as Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Gujarat, he served as Additional Secretary (Defence Production), Ministry of Defence in Government of India.

Shri Hareet Shukla is an IAS officer of the 1999 batch, presently working as the Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat and. Principal Secretary (Administrative reforms and Training Division) & Director General (SPIPA), General Administration Department Government of Gujarat.
Shri Hareet Shukla is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. During his 25 years of long and dedicated service, he has worked in many important departments like land and revenue, Dholera - Manadal, Special Investment Region (DSIR), Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL), Dholera International Airport Company Limited, Health and Family Welfare, civil supplies, consumer affairs, science & technology, power and energy, Tourism Devsthanam Management, Civil Aviation and Pilgrimage (IMD) finance and Infrastructure Development projects. He has served on major committees and councils in various capacities both at the state and national level.
From 02/07/2024, Shri Hareet Shukla is serving as Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Gujarat & Ex. Officio Principal Secretary General Administration Department Government of Gujarat.
